Qifa Zhou. received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electronic Materials and Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University of China. He is currently a professor of Biomedical Engineering and Ophthalmology at the University of Southern California. Dr. Zhou is a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE), and the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE). He has published more than 260 peer-reviewed articles in journals. His research focuses on the development of high-frequency ultrasonic elastography on ocular tissue and photoacoustic/OCT imaging for biomedical applications.
